Buying flowers and plants and charity at the very same time? YES, it’s possible! Here’s the opportunity to make a difference!

See you on 9th May, between 2.00-5.30 PM at the internal terrace of the CenterPoint building (Váci street side), where our first charity flower and plant fair will take place.

„Who likes flowers can’t be a bad person.” - this is how the saying goes; and to prove how true it is it’s enough to take Rainbow Home and Civitan Horticulture as an example.

Who are they? The residents of these two homes are gardeners who give their heart and blood to raise and take care abundance of flowers, plants, trees and bushes. Their aim is to beautify their and our environment while generating income to offset the running expenses of their homes. The residents of these horticultures – due to their phisical or mental state –all need active caring. However, gardening plays an important role in their life. The result is not only that they can work but also a burst of activity and a way of self-expression.

The fact that they can sell the flowers and plants raised with love means a breakout beside the poor state subsidy. They don’t ask for alm but to buy the fruit of their work at a fair price. This way we can contribute to cover their daily expenses and make sure they can work somewhere even tomorrow. Hence, the total amount of the funds raised during the charity plant fair is a contribution to their cost of living.

The internal terrace of the CenterPoint building (Váci street side) will provide home to the Charity Plant Fair to be held on 9th May 2013, between 2.00-5.30 PM. We look forward seeing you there!

This blog aims to show the up-to-date status of their current and future plant fairs. To make it interactive and to increase the visibility of the horticultures we encourage our visitors to use the ’like’ icons under the pictures and on the side.
